The MFD Beaches are open to all Fire District taxpayers and their guests.
There are three Beaches; Lawton Beach, Benson Beach and Clark Farms Beach.
Beach tags, which are provided free to all MFD taxpayers, are required to enter the MFD beaches.

Parking is available on a first come first served basis at the Lawton and Benson Beaches. The purchase and display of a parking pass is required to enter MFD parking lots.

Beach tags and parking passes will only be available by mail for the reminder of the 2020 season.

Requests must include a copy of your driver's license and your MFD address. Requests will be honored only if your name matches the tax roll.
A limited number of beach tags and parking passes remain available for this year.

Note: Beginning in 2021, the Board has decided that tags and passes will be distributed by mail ONLY starting in April.

2020 Hours of Operation

Beaches Open Weekends

All Beaches (Benson, Clark and Lawton) will be open the weekends of May 23-25 (including Memorial Day), May 30-31, June 6-7, and June 13-14.
The hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm.

All beaches will also be open the weekends of September 12-13 and 19-20 only if sufficient personnel are available. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
(If there is not sufficient personnel, the beaches will be closed.)

Beaches Open Daily

All beaches will be open every day Saturday, starting June 20 through Monday, September 7. (If there isn't sufficient personnel, the first day will be June 27.)
The hours are:

Weekdays — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays — 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
