About Misquamicut Fire District
The Misquamicut Fire District was originally incorporated as the "Pleasant View Beach Fire District" by the Rhode Island General Assembly in 1915. In 1929, the name was changed to the "Misquamicut Fire District". The Misquamicut Fire District is located in the Town of Westerly, RI. bounded by the Weekapaug, Watch Hill, and Westerly Fire Districts with the Atlantic Ocean being the southerly boundary of the District.
Board of Officers
The MFD Board manages the operations of the Fire District.
Fire Department
The MFD Fire Department is a volunteer operation.
