Misquamicut Fire DistrictBeaches
The MFD Beaches are open to all Fire District taxpayers and their guests.
There are three Beaches; Lawton Beach, Benson Beach and Clark Farms Beach.
Beach tags, which are provided free to all MFD taxpayers, are required to enter the MFD beaches.
Parking is available on a first come first served basis at the Lawton and Benson Beaches.
The purchase and display of a parking pass is required to park at MFD parking lots.
Parking passes are $300.00.
Walk-on passes will not be available after July 14th.
Beach Parking Passes and Walk on Tags will be distributed at the Fire Station on the following dates from 9:00am-1:00pm
May 18 & 19
May 25 & 26
June 1 & 2
June 8 AFTER the Annual Meeting
**All fire district taxes must be paid in full.
**Photo ID will be required.
2024 Hours of Operation
Beaches Open Weekends
All Beaches (Benson, Clark and Lawton) will be open the weekends of
May 25-27 (including Memorial Day), June 1-2, and June 8-9.
The hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Beaches Open Daily
All beaches will be open every day starting June 15 through Monday, September 2.
(If there isn't sufficient personnel, only 1 beach may be fully staffed and open.)
The hours are:
Weekdays — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays — 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
