The Misquamicut Fire District provides Trash Removal to all Fire District taxpayers and their guests.
Trash removal is done by CWPM

Saturday pick-ups begin on the third Saturday of June and end on the second Saturday of September.
Rules & Regulations
All trash must be placed in Town of Westerly orange bags and placed in proper garbage cans with lids or it will not be picked up. Bags are available at local stores.
All recyclables must be in blue containers marked for recyclables. Recyclables may be co-mingled (glass, paper, cans and plastic).
All trash and recyclables must be ready at 7:00 a.m. on on the scheduled pick-up days.
The contract with EZ Waste Systems provides for backyard or side yard service so you should not place your trash or recyclables at the curb.
If you use your residence during the off season, please be sure to call EZ Waste at 401.348.9155 to ensure garbage pickup.
Orange bags and recyclables can also be taken directly to the Westerly Transfer Station.
If you rent your house or cottage, please ensure that your renters are aware of these regulations.
Whether you are a permanent resident, seasonal owner, an owner renting their property or a visting renter, it is important to adhere to these Regulations so that we may all enjoy our time in Misquamicut.
